HAILEY'S HORIZON

Hailey Hallifsson lives in fear of the horizon, a vast wall of silent mist that completely surrounds his tiny country, Verdaya. Anyone can walk into the horizon, but no one has ever returned. Ten years ago, Hailey’s father vanished into the mists.

When the horizon turns blood red, Hailey’s younger brother Ben is pulled into it by an otherworldly beast, and Hailey throws himself after him into an unknown world brimming with danger.

With the help of a mad drunk, a little girl who converses with animals, and an ethereal, glass-skinned guide, Hailey faces flaming mountains, winged shadows and his true self as he fights to save his brother from a terrible evil that walks on silent, charred feet.
